Patchogue, NY: The Ramapo College women's volleyball split a pair of matches today at the Saint Joseph's College-LI Invitational with a 2-3 loss to the City College of New York and a 3-0 win over Saint Joseph's-Brooklyn. The Roadrunners now stand at 16-3 on the season.
In a tough five set loss (25-22, 23-25, 25-15, 21-25, 9-15) to CCNY, three Roadrunners posted kills of ten or more. Junior
Michelle Ferrari (Marlton, NJ) posted a team high 17 kills and ten digs while junior
Maura Burke (Wyckoff, NJ)posted 12 kills and senior
Meagan Taege (Manahawkin, NJ) added ten kills of her own. Burke added three digs and four total blocks while Taege posted six digs and two service aces.

Tiffany Fischer (Woodcliff Lake, NJ) recorded 40 assists and 11 digs while junior
Elizabeth Steck (Marlton, NJ) posted a match high 20 digs.
Ramapo defeated the Bears (25-14, 25-14, 25-11) in their second match of the day. The Roadrunners recorded 34 total kills and 15 service aces in the match. Ferrari led Ramapo with eight kills while Burke added six of her own. Rookie
Katelyn Ward (Piscataway, NJ) tallied five kills, four service aces, seven digs and two blocks while rookie
Alexandra Kratochvil (Washington, NJ) tallied a team high eight digs.
Fischer dished out 23 assists and Steck posted seven digs and a perfect passing percentage.
Ramapo will return to action tomorrow at the SJC Invitational when they take on the host Golden Eagles and Farmingdale State.
