Lake Buena Vista, FL: The Ramapo College men's basketball team saw their five game win streak snapped today by Wesley College, 86-80. The Roadrunners fall to 9-3 overall while the Wolverines now stand at 7-4.
The Roadrunners had all five starters scoring in double figures while being led by sophomore
Davian Plunkett (Paterson, NJ) as he scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. He also tallied one block and one steal.
Senior
Andre Kenny (Jersey City, NJ) added 14 points while dishing out a six assists. He also collected five steals and one block. Sophomore
LaQuan Peterkin (Paterson, NJ) tallied 13 points and grabbed six rebounds while sophomore
Anthony LoRusso (Mahwah, NJ) added 11 points of his own as he went a perfect 4-4 from the foul line. LoRusso also dished out a team high seven assists.
Senior
Isaiah Lynch (Linden, NJ) scored ten points in the loss while grabbing four rebounds. Ramapo shot 54% from the field in the game while the Wolverines shot 44%. Wesley would shot 52% from behind the three point line (11-21) while Ramapo shot 37% (3-8). Ramapo shot 68% from the foul line (15-22) while the Wolverines shot 78% (25-32).
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to non-conference foe Vassar College at 7:00 PM.
