Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College swim team defeated King's College tonight, 115-62. The Roadrunners improve to 4-6 overall.
The 400-yard medley relay "A" team made up of
Jenny Lo (Toms River, NJ),
Stephanie Sinck (Bridgewater, NJ),
Brenda Slazyk (Clifton, NJ) and
Lauren Morgan (Allendale, NJ) finished in first place with a time of 4:32.58.
The "B" team made up of
Jaclyn Bondarenko (Wayne, NJ),
Megan Robb (Blackwood, NJ),
Alaina Lombardi (Mullica Hill, NJ)and
Caroline Colgan (East Brunswick, NJ) finished in second place in 4:44.05.
Chelsey Neders (Coopersburg, PA) took home a first place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle in 19:20.96 while
Bethany Wozniak (Bayville, NJ) placed second in 19:47.37.
Slazyk and
Lindsey Poandl (Middlesex, NJ) finished in first (2:10.27) and second place (2:14.96) respectively in the 200-yard freestyle. Slazyk placed first in the 50-yard freestyle in 26.96 while Neders finished in second as she clocked in 27.98.
Lo recorded a first place finish in the 200-yard IM in 2:27.46 whole Morgan took home first place honors in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:08.08.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, February 2nd when they host NJAC rival William Paterson University at 6:00 PM. Ramapo will honor their seniors prior to the meet.
