Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's basketball team defeated the Gothic Knights from New Jersey City University tonight at the Bradley Center, 75-60. The Roadrunners improve to 13-4 overall and 4-2 in the NJAC while NJCU falls to 9-7 overall and 3-3 in the conference.

Isaiah Lynch (Linden, NJ) scored on a tip-in with 19:51 in the first half and the Roadrunners never looked back cruising to a 15 points victory. They jumped out to an 11-point lead with 7:18 to go in the half on a jumper by sophomore
LaQuan Peterkin (Paterson, NJ), 26-15. NJCU made two foul shots before the Roadrunners would go on a 15-0 run. The run was capped off by a dunk from sophomore
Davian Plunkett (Paterson, NJ) and a made foul shot, 40-17.
The two teams traded baskets before Josh Lopez (Jersey City, NJ) made a three pointer and Asad Faison (Salisbury, NC) made both foul shots with 1:42 remaining in the half. Lopez sank another three point shot to cut the lead to 42-27 before a good jumper by rookie
Stephon Treadwell ended the half, 44-27 in favor of the Roadrunners.
The Roadrunners led by as many as 22 points three times in the second half, the last time coming at 2:23 to go in the game on a jumper by Plunkett. NJCU's Steve Raymond (Asbury Park, NJ) hit a basket and Rashad Davis (Newark, NJ) made both foul shots, 74-56 with 1:21 remaining. Senior

The Roadrunners shot 50% from the field and 75% from the foul line in the game. NJCU shot 39% from the field and 78% from the foul line in the game.
The Roadrunners travel to NJAC foe Richard Stockton College on Saturday at 1:00 PM while the Gothic Knights host Rowan University at 4:00 PM.
