Jamaica, NY:  The York College women's volleyball team fell to a strong team from Ramapo College Thursday evening by a score of 3-0 (25-12, 25-8, 25-18). The Roadrunners improve to 3-2 while York falls to 2-3

The Lady Cardinals were never in the match as Ramapo took charge from the start. The Roadrunners took advantage of 17 reception errors by York. Ramapo's Kayla Anders (Harrington Park, NJ ) recorded a match-high eight kills on just ten attempts and setter Tiffany Fischer (Woodcliff Lake, NJ) dished out 24 assists.

For York, senior Shanine Bogan led the Lady Cardinals with five kills and a .833 hitting percentage, while also recording four blocks. 

The Roadrunners return to action this Saturday when they host the NJAC/Skyline Crossover Challenge. Conference rival New Jersey City University and Skyline foes Saint Joseph's - LI and SUNY Purchase will compete against eachother. Ramapo takes on St. Joseph's - LI at 10:00 AM while NJCU plays SUNY Purchase on court two. The Roadrunners will play SUNY Purchase at noon while NJCU takes on St. Joseph's - LI.
