Mahwah, NJ: Five different Roadrunners made their mark in the 2009 season opener today, including goals from rookie
Rob Santaniello, who scored two in his college debut, when the Ramapo College men's soccer team defeated the Cyclones of Centenary College, 7-0.

Ian Tighe made four saves in the shut out leading his team to their first win of the 2009 season at the Athletic Center in a non-conference match-up.

Justin Stone, who scored the lone goal in the team's 1-0 victory over the Cyclones last season, netted his first of two, to go up 2-0 just over 16 minutes into the game. Sophomore
Frank Vogas dished the ball to Stone earning his first point of the season. Santaniello ripped a shot past the Centenary goalkeeper, unassisted, posting his first collegiate goal, and the final goal of the half, heading into the intermission, 3-0 over the Cyclones.
Ramapo outshot Centenary 11-5 in the first 45 minutes of play while edging the Cyclones by a slight 4-3 in corners.
Santaniello didn't waste time knocking in a second goal at 50:33 to give his team a 4-0 advantage, and Vogas connected on a pass from
Giuseppe Nicola Trani at 59:42 to take a 5-0 lead. Stone struck again in the 66th minute off a cross from senior transfer

Ramapo went 14-2 over the Cyclones in second half shots, rounding out the day, 25-7, while adding four second half corners, finishing the day, 8-3 over Centenary in corners.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, September 5th when they take on Lehman College at 1:00pm at the Athletic Center.
