Buffalo, NY: The Ramapo men's volleyball team swept D'Youville today, before dropping a tough match to MSOE in four, dropping only their third match of the 2009 season. The Roadrunners stand at 21-3 overall heading into tomorrow's match-up with NECVA rival Nazareth, ranked #7 in the AVCA poll. D'Youville takes the three game loss, 3-0 (30-26, 30-23, 32-30) falling to 8-9 on the year, while MSOE improves to 3-10 with the four game, 3-1 (30-25, 22-30, 32-34, 22-30) win over the Roadrunners.
Rookie
Josh Castillo (Clifton, NJ) led the Roadrunners with 11 kills in the team's first match of the day with D'Youville, while the team combined hitting .263 with 53 kills on 114 attempts and 23 errors.

Tom Kohler (East Brunswick, NJ) each contributed ten kills to the match. Rookie
Matt Agnew (Fair Lawn, NJ) contributed seven kills to the win while senior
Jairo Sierra (Fair Lawn, NJ) and junior
Matt Scott (Edison, NJ) dished out 16 and 32 assists respectively.
Defensive specialist Kurt Backland (Old Bridge, NJ) led the Roadrunners with ten digs and
Edward Rossiter (Edison, NJ) chipped in nine of his own.
The Roadrunners hit only .197 with 51 kills on 132 attempts with 25 errors in a tough four game loss to MSOE. Donohue led with 20 kills and Kohler added 12 while Sierra and Scott combined for 36 assists. McNerney chipped in a team leading 15 digs in the loss.
