RAMAPO TOO MUCH FOR DOLPHINS

Staten Island, NY:   Ramapo College used a balanced attack and aggressive gameplay to take a 3-0 win over the College of Staten Island in women's volleyball in a non-conference affair played at the Sports & Recreation Center earlier this evening.

The win improved the Roadrunners to 20-7 on the season overall, while the Dolphins fell for only the second time in its last eight games, dipping to 11-14 on the year.

After exchanging a series of leads in the early going of game one, Ramapo used a seven-point streak to take over game one by a score of 13-7. From there, the Roadrunners were able to keep CSI guessing with timely sets and improbable digs. CSI was out-killed in the frame, 12-3, en route to the 25-12 final. Ramapo won game two, 25-7, allowing the Dolphins only a single kill, and in game three Ramapo prevailed 25-13 for the straight-set victory.

A total of 13 players got into the game for Ramapo while CSI played only seven.
