Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo women's volleyball team picked up their fifth NJAC win of the season over Kean University, 3-0 (25-9, 25-21, 25-13) tonight at the Bradley Center. The Roadrunners improve to 19-6 overall, 5-2 in the NJAC while the Cougars fall to 11-9 overall, 0-7 in the conference.

The Roadrunners were led by sophomore Kayla Anders (Harrington Park, NJ) who pounded out 11 kills in the match. Sophomore Maura Burke (Wyckoff, NJ) added nine kills and four total blocks, three solo.

Sophomore Kaitlin Smith (Westwood, NJ) tallied eight kills on 12 attempts with no errors to hit .667 in the match. Sophomore setter Tiffany Fischer (Woodcliff Lake, NJ) posted one kill while dishing out 29 assists and five digs. Sophomore Elizabeth Steck (Marlton, NJ) recorded a match high 11 digs.

For the Cougars, sophomore Tara Richey (Bayonne, NJ) tallied seven kills and one solo block while junior Colleen Masterson (Rahway, NJ) dished out 14 assists and six digs.

Ramapo tallied 38 kills in the match to hit .287 overall while recording eight service aces.

The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow night when they host Stevens Institute of Technology at 6:00 PM. Kean will travel to King's Point for a quad match on October 24th starting at 11:00 AM.
