Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team fell to NJAC rival William Paterson University today at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners fall to 3-3-1 overall, 1-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference while the Pioneers pick up their seventh straight victory of the season, 7-0 overall, 2-0 in the conference.

The score remained at 0-0 until the 61st minute when sophomore Vikki Cicak (Wharton, NJ) put the ball in the back of the net for a 1-0 Pioneer lead. She was assisted by senior Natale Buongiorno (Northvale, NJ).

Sophomore Ali Ruddy (Wayne, NJ) recorded her first goal of the season off a feed from rookie Ashley Grabowski (Woodbridge, NJ), her third assist of the year.

Junior netminder Meaghan Baker (Rockaway, NJ) posted her third shutout on the season recording one save.

Sophomore Melissa Demko (East Brunswick, NJ) recorded the only shot on goal for the Roadrunners while junior Jessica DaRold (Sayreville, NJ) made four saves in the loss.

The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, September 27th when they travel to Richard Stockton College for a 1:00 PM start.
