Mahwah, NJ: Head Coach Don Vanderbeck recorded his 300th career coaching victory at Ramapo College tonight with his team's 3-0 blanking of Mt. St. Vincent. The Roadrunners went 30-24, 30-18, and 30-25 to record their eighth win of the year. With the win the team remains undefeated in the NECVA Metro Division improving to 3-0 while standing at 8-1 overall.
Junior outside hitter
Shane Donohue (Freehold, NJ) led the Roadrunners with 19 kills while senior opposite
Brendan Whitford (Lyndhurst, NJ) recorded ten of his own. Donohue hit .412 while Whitford hit .250 and added three service aces in the win.
Jairo Sierra (Fair Lawn, NJ) dished out a team high 44 assists and defensive specialist
Dan Sempkowski (East Brunswick, NJ) came out on top of all Roadrunners with 16 digs.
The Roadrunners combined for 51 kills on 95 attempts with 15 errors hitting .379 as a team.
Ramapo travels to Hunter College on Thursday, February 6th for a 7:00 PM match.
