Mahwah, NJ: In a non-conference swim match-up with Adelphi University, the Ramapo College women's swim team fell just short to the Panthers, 101-92, falling to 1-4 overall on the year. Adelphi improves to .500 standing at 3-3 overall.

Kathy Murphy (Howell, NJ) earned nine points for Ramapo in the 200-yard freestyle when she earned first place touching the poolside in 2:12.58. Murphy led the Roadrunners once again in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing in 1:05.49 for a second first place ribbon, and Jenna DiLolle (Haddon Township, NJ) earned a first place of her own in the 50-yard free, for nine points, after finishing in 26.74. Lauren Chrzanowski (East Brunswick, NJ) placed first in the 100-yard butterfly. Stephanie Sinck (Bridgewater, NJ) was also a top finisher for Ramapo on the day earning first place in the 100-yard breaststroke. Sinck finished the race in 1:15.14. May Lauzon (Teaneck, NJ) and Sinck placed second in the 50-yard free and the 200-yard IM respectively. Lauzon finished her race in 27.44 while Sinck touched the poolside in 2:35.44.

Adelphi's Charlotte Davies (Sanibel, FL) led her team with two first place ribbons in the 1,000-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle. Davies clocked in in 11:16.37 in the 1,000-yard while finishing the 500-yard race in 5:34.14.

The Roadrunners return to action after the New Year on January 18th when they host East Stroudsburg at 2:00 PM at the Bradley Center.
