Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's swim team fell to the Lion's of The College of New Jersey today, 48.5-138.5. The Lions improve to 3-0 overall, 2-0 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners fall to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the conference.
The 200-yard medley relay team made up of rookie
Kathy Murphy (Howell, NJ),
Stephanie Sinck (Bridgewater, NJ),
Lauren Chrzanowski (East Brunswick, NJ) and sophomore
May Lauzon (Teaneck, NJ) finished in third place with a time of 2:03.96. Sinck also placed second in the 100-yard breastroke in 1:14:78.
Sophomore
Rachel Chipolone (Fair Lawn, NJ) placed third in the 1000-yard freestyle in 14:44.62 and Chrzanowski finished in fourth in the 200-yard IM in 2:35.96 and fourth in the 100-yard butterfly 1:10.27. Lauzon and sophomore
Jourdan Chiavaro (Manchester, NJ) finished in fourth and fifth place respectively in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:03.62 and 1:11.72.
Ramapo took second through fourth place in the 100-yard backstroke. Murphy, Coviello and DiLolle finished 2-3-4 with times of 1:06.02, 1:08.24 and 1:08.87 respectively. Murphy and Chipolone picked up second (6:24:40) and third (7:28.12) place in the 500-yard freestyle.

Chelsey Neders (Coopersburg, PA) DiLolle and Sinck picked up a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:50.27.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host Drew University on November 8th at 2:00 PM.
