Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team dropped a NJAC match tonight against Montclair State University, 0-3. The loss drops the Roadrunners to 11-8 overall, 3-2 in the conference while the Red Hawks improve to 14-9, 5-1 in the conference.
Junior Kara Burnham (Moorestown, NJ) recorded nine kills on 16 attempts to lead Montclair while sophomore Devon Johnston (Moorestown, NJ) posted seven kills and 14 digs. Sophomore Kristen Ruggieri (Hillsdale, NJ) added 22 assists.
The Red Hawks tallied 16 service aces in the match to the Roadrunners two.
Rookie
Kayla Anders (Harrington Park, NJ) led the Roadrunners with ten kills and four blocks, while rookie
Kim Runge (Closter, NJ) racked up 12 digs and recorded six kills.
The Roadrunners return to action on October 14th when they travel to NJAC rival New Jersey City University at 7:00 PM.
