Men's Volleyball

DONOHUE PACES RAMAPO PAST PBU

Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team played host to Philadelphia Biblical tonight at the Bradley Center in Mahwah. The Roadrunners earned a 3-1 (28-30, 30-18, 30-23, 30-23) vicory improving to 22-7 on the year. PBU falls to 10-13.

The team was led by Shane Donohue (Freehold Twp., NJ) who posted 25 kills on 38 attempts while sophomore outside hitter David Ross (Emerson, NJ) posted 20 kills on 47 attempts in the win. Nicholas Kalbach (Old Bridge, NJ) recorded ten kills of his own and senior Alex Likhovidov (Ringwood, NJ) grabbed nine in his senior spotlight match.

Junior setter Jordan Roldan (Jersey City, NJ) and rookie setter Jairo Sierra (Fair Lawn, NJ) combined for 60 assists while J Steinhauer (West Windsor, NJ) and Ross led the defense with four and 12 digs respectively. Donohue posted a double-double of his own with 11 digs.

Ramapo recorded 72 kills in the win with 32 errors on 157 attempts for a .255 hitting percentage while PBU hit .049 with 43 kills on 143 attempts with 36 errors.

For the Crimson Eagles, Jathan Brubaker (Telford, PA) and Ben Fuller (Leola, PA) posted 12 and ten kills respectively leading the team while Chase Byler (Gap, PA) dished out a team high 40 assists.

The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, Match 29th when they travel to Vassar for a 7:00 PM match-up.
