Mahwah , NJ : The Ramapo College men's volleyball team earned a 3-1 (29-31, 30-27, 30-22, 30-26) victory over Hunter College today at the Bradley Center in Mahwah. The Roadrunners improve to 23-13 overall while Hunter falls to 18-12.

After falling short 31-29 in game one, Ramapo fought back to sweep the next three behind rookie DAVID ROSS (Perth Amboy, NJ ) posting 17 kills on 30 attempts with seven errors. Junior ALEX LIKHOVIDOV (Ringwood, NJ) recorded 16 kills on 28 attempts with five errors and BRENDAN WHITFORD (Lyndhurst, NJ) posted 14 while senior JERRY ROMAN (West New York, NJ) added eight in the win. Junior setter HECTOR RODRIGUEZ (West New York, NJ) dished out a team-high 34 assists and sophomore setter JORDAN ROLDAN (Jersey City, NJ) recorded 24 of his own. Ramapo's defense was led by senior RYAN HOWELL (Bridgewater, NJ) with ten digs while WHITFORD and LIKHOVIDOV added seven each. ROMAN led the way with five blocks and ROSS recorded three service aces, team leading. The Roadrunners hit .287 with 66 kills on 129 attempts with 29 errors.

For the Hawks, Joshua Concepcion (Staten Island, NY) led the team with 20 kills on 42 attempts with seven errors hitting .310 while Ronaldo DaSilva (Bahia, Brazil) posted 15 kills and David Kazadi (Rouen, France) added ten. Brandon Caban (Wahiawa, HI) dished out a team-high 49 assists and Concepcion led the defense with 11 digs. The Hawks recorded 55 kills on 125 attempts with 27 errors hitting .224 in the loss.

The Roadrunners will wrap up their 2005 regular season on Tuesday, April 5th at home vs. Baruch at 8:00 PM.
