Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team fell short to the Brewers of Vassar College, 3-0 (27-30, 31-33, 21-30) tonight at the Bradley Center on the campus of Ramapo College. The Roadrunners fall to 12-5 overall while Vassar improves to 3-7.

Senior Steve Gilhool (Wynnewood, PA) led the Brewers posting 14 kills on 25 attempts with only two errors hitting .480 in the victory. Matt Bninski (Aiea, HI) followed with 12 kills on 26 attempts with three errors while Ian Roth (Orefield, PA) and Craig Lutterbein (Webster, NY) recorded nine and five kills respectively. Senior setter Alex Weber (Slingerlands, NY) dished out a team-high 31 assists and Kyle Giunta (Penfield, PA) led the defense recording nine digs. Vassar hit .271 overall posting 43 kills on 96 attempts with 17 errors.

For the Roadrunners, rookie DAVID ROSS (Perth Amboy, NJ) led the team posting 11 kills on 29 attempts while senior JERRY ROMAN (West New York, NJ) and junior ALEX LIKHOVIDOV (Ringwood, NJ) posted nine and eight kills respectively. BRENDAN WHITFORD (Lyndhurst, NJ) recorded six and junior HECTOR RODRIGUEZ (West New York, NJ) followed with four of his own. RODRIGUEZ dished out a team-high 31 assists and senior defensive specialist RYAN HOWELL (Bridgewater, NJ) led the way recording 15 digs. Ramapo hit .129 overall recording 41 kills on 101 attempts with 28 hitting errors.

The Roadrunners will host NECVA opponent Yeshiva University on Thursday, February 17th at 8:00 PM.
