Mahwah , NJ : The Ramapo College men's basketball team dropped the Profs of Rowan University, 86-72 in NJAC action tonight at the Bradley Center in Mahwah. Ramapo improves to 10-2 overall, 6-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference while Rowan falls to 8-5 overall, 3-4 in the conference.

The Roadrunners led by as many as 16 in the first half and 18 in the second shooting 31-67, 46% from the field behind Rowan's 30-59, 51%. Senior guard BENJAMIN ALLEN (Clifton, NJ ) netted 21 points shooting 7-11 from the field, 3-5 from behind the arc while grabbing three rebounds in the win. Sophomore transfer TODD LOWBER (Riverside, NJ ) and RASHAWN WILSON (Jersey City, NJ ) recorded 17 and 12 points respectively and LOWBER pulled down ten boards for the double-double. AMIN WRIGHT (Jersey City, NJ ) posted ten points of his own while dishing out a team-high five assists.

For the Profs, senior guard Ryan Cochrane (Howell, NJ ) recorded 21 points and four rebounds with a team-high six assists while Matt Byrnes (Mays Landing, NJ) and Brandon King (Sickerville, NJ ) posted 11 and nine points respectively. King shot a perfect 4-4 from the field while Byrnes added a perfect 3-3 from the line.

The Roadrunners will return to action on Wednesday, January 19th at 8:00 PM when they take on conference rival Richard Stockton while Rowan will host Keystone on Monday, January 17th at 2:00 PM.
