Mahwah , NJ : The Ramapo College women's soccer team played host to the Pioneers of William Paterson today at the Athletic Center recording a 1-1 tie. The Roadrunners now stand at to 4-4-1 overall 0-2-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference while the Pioneers stand at 3-3-2 overall, 0-1-1 in the conference.

In the first 45 minutes of play, sophomore midfielder AMY KETCHERSID (Point Pleasant , NJ ) hit the back of the net after connecting with fellow sophomore MEGHAN FARRELL (Monroe Township , NJ ) off a corner at 11:53 giving Ramapo a 1-0 lead. Erin Guidera (Union , NJ ) tied the game at 35:23off an assist from Lea Mullady (Staten Island , NY ) ending the first half, 1-1.

In the last 45 minutes of regulation, Ramapo ripped four shots and William Paterson posted five, unable to hit the back of the net sending the game into overtime. The game remained tied after 110 minutes standing at 1-1.

Junior goalkeeper CHRISTY TURNER (Ringwood , NJ ) recorded five saves while Erin Bollendorf (Blackwood , NJ ) posted four in the tie for the Pioneers.

The Roadrunners will travel to Kean University on Wednesday, September 29th at 7:30 PM .
