Mahwah , NJ : The Ramapo College women's soccer team played host to the Lions of the College of New Jersey in a NJAC match-up at the Athletic Center in Mahwah. The Roadrunners posted a 3-1 loss falling to 4-4 overall, 0-2 NJAC while the Lions improve to 5-1-1 overall, 2-0 in the conference.

In the first half of play, sophomore midfielder Caitlin Brennan (Clark , NJ ) hit the back of the net at 19:05 after connecting with a cross from fellow sophomore Lisa Koktajlo (Hamilton , NJ ). Ramapo tied the game at one just :17 seconds before the end of the half when sophomore midfielder CHRISTINE ANDREYKO (Manville , NJ ) snuck one past junior goalie Alissa Kacar (East Brunswick , NJ ). The assist came from sophomore DANA CHIAPPONE (Marlboro, NJ).

In the last 45 minutes, Lynda Schuster (Trenton, NJ) ripped a shot at 75:48 hitting the bck of the net giving The College of New Jersey a 2-1 lead. The assist came from Dana DiBruno (Cherry Hill, NJ). With six minutes remaining in the game, Schuster recorded a second, assisted by Lauren DiStefano (Yardville, NJ ), to close out the game, 3-1 over the Roadrunners.

The Roadrunners will host William Paterson University on Saturday, September 25th at 4:30 PM .
