Mahwah, NJ: The Ducks of the Stevens Institute of Technology shut out the Ramapo College men's volleyball team in a NECVA Metro match-up in Mahwah. Ramapo falls to 7-5 overall, 2-3 NECVA Metro while Stevens improves to 15-2 overall, 3-0 in the conference.

Junior outside hitter Brian Woodworth (San Jose, CA) led Stevens both on offense and defense posting 12 kills with two errors on 19 attempts and seven digs respectively. Rookie Scott Stoner (Wantagh, NY) followed with nine kills, no errors on 12 attempts and sophomore Greg Higgins (Kenmore, NY) and rookie Jonathan Williams (Chalfont, PA) contributed eight kills apiece. Higgins led with three total blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Chris Bock (Orlando, FL) added seven kills in the match-up while senior setter Gerard Aro (Jersey City, NJ) dished out a team-high 30 assists.

For the Roadrunners, senior KRIS FRASER (Lakewood, NJ) recorded 17 kills with seven errors on 34 attempts and junior middle JERRY ROMAN (West New York, NJ) added five kills with one error on nine attempts. Sophomore setter HECTOR RODRIGUEZ (West New York, NJ) and rookie setter JORDAN ROLDAN (Jersey City, NJ) combined for 28 assists.

Ramapo will host York College tomorrow at the Athletic Center at 8:00 PM.
