Mahwah, NJ: Senior JARED MILLIGAN (Ringwood, NJ) led the Roadrunners with 31 points shooting 11-16 from the floor in Ramapo's 15th win of the 2003-2004 season. Ramapo defeated the Scarlet Raptors of Rutgers Camden by 31 points, 104-73, in Mahwah. The Roadrunners improve to 15-4 overall, 5-3 NJAC while the Raptors fall to 4-14 overall, 2-6 in the conference.

The Roadrunners went on an 8-0 run to start the game and spread the lead by as many as 25 in the first half and 34 in the second shooting 39-77 (51%), 10-28 (36%) in the game. Rutgers Camden knocked down 26-68 (38%) from the floor, 8-28 (29%) from behind the arc never grabbing control of the game

MILLIGAN sunk five three-pointers and junior AMIN WRIGHT (Jersey City, NJ) followed with two posting 17 points for the team. Junior ELIAZAR VELEZ (West New York, NJ) shot 6-10 for 12 points and NOEL COLON (North Bergen, NJ) hit 4-7 recording eight points in the victory. GREG MCBAIN (Waldwick, NJ) led the team in rebounds with ten while VELEZ and MILLIGAN added nine and eight respectively. WRIGHT dished out a team-high four assists.

For the Scarlet Raptors, Gene Mergenthal (Sickerville, NJ) shot 4-9 leading Camden with 17 points. Mergenthal pulled down two boards while contributing four assists in the match-up. Tyrone Rucker (Pennsauken, NJ) and Dane Nicholson (Pleasantville, NJ) each netted 14 while junior Sean Smith (Mt. Holly, NJ) knocked in 12 of his own. Mike Hopson (Gloucester, NJ) led with nine rebounds and added nine points for the team.

Ramapo will host Kean University on Wednesday, February 4th at 7:30 PM.
