Mahwah, NJ: The Lady Roadrunners played host to Gwynedd Mercy College today defeating the Griffins, 1-0. Ramapo improves to 2-1 while Gwynedd Mercy falls to 1-1.

Rookie MEGHAN FARRELL (Monroe Township, NJ) netted Ramapo's lone goal in the first half at 19:47, unassisted. Gwynedd Mercy was unable to fight back ending in a 1-0 shut out victory. Ramapo ripped eight shots while the Griffins took six of their own. Sophomore goalkeeper CHRISTY TURNER (Ringwood, NJ) blocked six shots while Maria Neville (Bensalem, PA) stopped six.

The Roadrunners will travel to SUNY New Paltz on Wednesday, September 10th at 4:30 PM.
