Mahwah, NJ: Senior setter PEDRO HERNANDEZ (West New York, NJ) recorded his 3,099th career assist today at the Athletic Center tying the All-Time School Career Assist Record at Ramapo. HERNANDEZ dished out a team high 24 assists in the 3-0, (30-20, 30-27, 32-30), victory over the Gothic Knights. The Roadrunners improve to 23-6 overall, 11-1 NECVA while the Gothic Knights fall to 12-12 overall, 4-5 in the conference.
KRIS FRASER (Lakewood, NJ) recorded 21 kills with nine errors on 46 attempts while adding 13 digs in the match. Junior TOM WHITE (Clifton, NJ) killed nine and added eight digs while ALEX LIKHOVIDOV (Ringwood, NJ) posted five kills of his own. JOSH STOKES (San Luis Obispo, CA), BRYAN BODAJ (Avenel, NJ), ALEX UNGER (reading, PA), and JERRY ROMAN (West New York, NJ) posted four kills a piece. BODAJ recorded seven blocks and FRASER blocked five while STOKES dished out 18 assists. As a team, Ramapo downed 51 balls with 21 errors on 126 attempts, .238.
For the Gothic Knights, Chris Feliciano (Union, NJ) led the team with 16 kills and six digs. Abdel Escalante (Union City, NJ) dished out 39 assists in the match-up while adding ten digs and one service ace.
