Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0, 30-20, 30-23, 30-24, decision to Mt. St. Vincent College tonight at the Athletic Center in Mahwah. Ramapo drops their first NECVA Metro match-up falling to 2-1 in the conference. The Roadrunners stand 7-3 overall while MSV improves to 9-1 overall, and remains undefeated in the conference at 3-0.
Ramapo's KRIS FRASER (Lakewood, NJ) recorded 13 kills on 32 attempts with four errors hitting .281 on the night. FRASER posted seven digs in the match while senior TOM WHITE (Clifton, NJ) led the defense with 12 digs of his own. Junior JERRY ROMAN (West New York, NJ) downed five balls and WHITE and senior JOSH STOKES (San Luis Obispo, CA) added four kills apiece. Sophomore HECTOR RODRIGUEZ (West New York, NJ) dished out 30 assists in the loss.
For Mt. St. Vincent, Philip Gallagher (Peru, ME) led the way recording 15 kills on 26 attempts with three errors while sophomore Patrick Narciso (Centre Reach, NY) posted nine kills on 14 attempts with three errors hitting .429 in the team's ninth win of the season. Senior setter Brian Cafferty (Neptune, NJ) dished out a team-high 33 assists.
Ramapo will travel to SUNY New Paltz on Saturday, February 7th at 2:00 PM.
