Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team improved to 11-3 overall, 6-1 NECVA as they defeated the Dolphins of the College of Mt. St. Vincent, 3-2 (21-30, 30-21, 21-30, 30-26, 15-13). Mt. St. Vincent falls to 8-3 overall, 6-2 NECVA.
Junior KRIS FRASER (Lakewood, NJ) led the team with a double-double recording 19 kills and 17 digs. FRASER also posted six blocks and one assist in the match-up while senior PEDRO HERNANDEZ (West New York, NJ) dished out a team-high 35 assists. JOSH STOKES (San Luis Obispo, NJ) contributed 17 assists in the match. Sophomore ALEX UNGER (Reading, PA) killed 13 while adding two assists, two service aces, and seven digs. JERRY ROMAN (West New York, NJ) posted ten kills and five blocks while rookie BRYAN BODAJ (Avenel, NJ) added eight kills.
For Mt. St. Vincent, Derek Kamm (Deer Park, NY) recorded a team-high 22 kills and seven digs while Philip Gallagher (Pure, ME) added 17 kills. John Blansfield (Westbury, NY) tallied six total blocks and Rob Green (Floral Park, NY) dished out 57 assists in the match.
