Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team played host to the Bridges of Brooklyn College today at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners defeated the Bridges in three straight games, 30-24, 30-11, 30-28. Ramapo improves to 3-7 overall while Brooklyn falls to 1-5.

CHARYS PATMORE (Paterson, NJ) led the team posting 13 kills and four total blocks while REBECCA STRANG (Rockaway, NJ) recorded six kills and eight digs for the team. Sophomore KRISSY GORSKI (Washington Township, NJ) downed four balls and junior setter LINDSEY WESTON (Torrington, CT) and ALISON MARZOCCHI (Harrington Park, NJ) combined for 25 assists. MARZOCCHI led the defense with ten digs, WESTON added seven, and sophomore KAITLIN RINALDI (Paramus, NJ) dished in six of her own.

For Brooklyn, Tracy Rutter (Rockaway, NJ) and Kenisha Caicedo (Brooklyn, NY) recorded four kills a piece leading the team.

The Roadrunners will travel to the FDU Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
