Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team improved to 6-7 overall tonight defeating York College, 3-0, (30-12, 30-17, 30-16). The Cardinal of York fall to 5-7 overall.

CAMILA VIEIRA (Brazil) led the Roadrunners with seven kills, two digs and two aces while rookie SAMANTHA WEJNERT (Paramus, NJ) posted six kills and three digs. WEJNERT also added two solo blocks for the team. Sophomore setter LINDSEY WESTON (Torrington, CT) dished out 11 assists while BELLANILDA GARCIA (Passaic, NJ) added seven assists and five digs of her own.

For the Cardinals, sophomore Stacyann Stewart (Mt. Vernon, NY) tallied three kills and six digs while Jennifer Martinez (Corona, NY) led the defense with seven digs.

The Roadrunners will host City College of New York on Saturday, October 5th at noon.
