Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team played their final regular season game tonight at the Athletic Center and fell short to the Pioneers of William Paterson, 0-3 (30-26, 30-20, 30-25). The Roadrunners finish their 2002 season 7-14 overall, 1-7 NJAC. The Pioneers improve to 18-10 overall, 4-4 NJAC.

Rookie Lauren Shears (Montclair, NJ) led the Pioneers with 19 kills, three digs and two total blocks while Jen Froonjian (New Milford, NJ) posted nine kills and three digs of her own. Deni Sobieck (Wayne, NJ) dished out a match high 31 assists and added seven digs in the night.

For the Roadrunners, SAMANTHA WEJNERT (Paramus, NJ) recorded 14 kills leading Ramapo while ALISON MARZOCCHI (Harrington Park, NJ) and LINDSEY WESTON (Torrington, CT) combined for 25 assists.

The Roadrunners will return all to their 2003 roster. Congratulations on a job well done!
