Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team fell short to the Red Hawks of Montclair State today at the Athletic Center falling to 6-10 overall, 1-5 NJAC while the Red Hawks improve to 11-9, 3-4 NJAC.

Carmen Alvarado (Newark, NJ) led the Red Hawks posting 14 kills and nine digs while Jennifer Olan (Jersey City, N) dished out 30 assists. Olan also added six digs for the team. Rookie Flavia Veiga (Belen, Brazil) tallied nine kills and six digs while Stacey Johnson (Paterson, NJ) recorded five total blocks for Montclair.

For the Roadrunners, rookie SAMANTHA WEJNERT (Paramus, NJ) led the way with nine kills and 19 digs. DIANA PARADA (Secaucus, NJ) posted 12 digs in the match-up.

The Roadrunners will travel to Stevens Tech on Saturday, October 19th at 1:00 PM.
