Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team fell short to the Lions of the College of New Jersey, 5-0 at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners fall to 4-7-1 overall, 1-3-1 NJAC while the Lions improve to 11-0-1 overall, 5-0 NJAC.

Rookie goalkeeper CHRISTY TURNER (Ringwood, NJ) blocked six shots in the first half to hold TCNJ to one goal in 45 minutes. Elisabeth Tomlin (Cherry Hill, NJ) netted the first goal at 30:08, unassisted. Senior Cara Gabage (Vineland, NJ) led the Lions with two goals while Katie Egan (Brick, NJ) posted one goal and two assists of her own. Rookie Elana Lidor (East Brunswick, NJ) tallied one goal of her own in the match-up while Marina Capacasa (Mt. Laurel, NJ) chipped in an assist.

TURNER posted nine total saves in 90 minutes.

The Roadrunners will travel to Rutgers Newark on Wednesday, October 16th at 4:30 PM.
