TC Elsasser led the Roadrunners to an opening 4-1 season hitting .415 recording 69 kills and a team leading 21 blocks. Elsasser opened the season recording 16 kills hitting .480 in the team's season opening 3-2 win over Hunter. On the same day he posted 17 kills hitting .314 in the team's second win of the year, 3-2 over Newbury. Elsasser added another 12 kills in a tough 3-0 loss to Rivier, before hitting .750 with 12 kills and no errors in a 3-0 win over Division I Sacred Heart University. Elsasser wrapped up the week with 12 kills hitting .526 in their 3-0 win over PBU. He leads the team with 21 total blocks, with a highlight nine, coming in the opening match of the year.
