Mahlik becomes the second Roadrunner freshman to earn NJAC Rookie of the Week honors this year, joining teammate Kyle Lisa. He helped lead Ramapo in a 5-0 week in NJAC play, batting .462 (6-for-13) with four runs scored, one RBI, one double, and four drawn walks. He hit safely in all four games he appeared in, including a 3-for-5 effort with three runs scored against Stockton in the nightcap of a doubleheader. He also collected a hit and drew three walks as the Roadrunners upset #4/6 Rowan on the road. The rookie is among the batting leaders in the conference, ranking eighth among all NJAC players with a .392 average. He ranks second in the the NJAC with a .516 on-base percentage.
