Dowell earns NJAC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors after competing at the Ramapo Indoor Select at the New Balance Armory Track & Field Center. He produced a first-place showing in the triple jump with an ECAC qualifying and winning distance of 14.50 meters in a field of nine competitors. He also placed ninth in a field of 25 competitors in the long jump with a mark of 6.54 meters, and registered a personal-best time of 7.16 in the 60-meter dash which allowed him to place 10th in a field of 37 runners. Dowell currently holds the best NJAC mark in the triple jump, while he holds the third-best leap in all of NCAA Division III this season.
