Appezzato earns NJAC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season after traveling to Springfield, MA to compete at the ECAC Championships. She placed second in a field of 29 competitors in the javelin with a runner-up throw of 44.01 meters. By virtue of her NCAA Division III sixth best qualifying javelin throw of 44.73 meters, Appezzato will travel to LaCrosse, WI to compete in the NCAA Division III National Outdoor Championships on May 25. The performance by Appezzato helped propel the Roadrunners to a 10th place finish in the 57-team ECAC Championship.
