Van Leeuwen earns the final NJAC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week selection, his seventh of the season, after traveling to Delaware, OH to compete at the NCAA National Outdoor Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan. He earned All-American honors by placing fifth overall in a field of 19 national competitors in the pole vault with a mark of 5.06 meters. The 2011 USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Field Athlete of the Year, Van Leeuwen’s performance helped the Roadrunners place 51st overall in the NCAA Division III National Championship.
