Appezzato becomes the second different Roadrunner to earn NJAC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors after traveling to Philadelphia to compete at the Penn Relays. She placed ninth in a field of 13 national competitors in the javelin with an ECAC qualifying throw of 45.44 meters. Appezzato currently holds the best NJAC javelin mark this season and the fourth best throw in the event in all of NCAA Division III (45.78 meters).
