Van Leeuwen earns NJAC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for the fourth consecutive week after traveling to Chapel Hill, NC to compete at the University of North Carolina Invitational. He placed second in a field of 14 competitors in the pole vault with an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 5.10 competitors. The runner-up performance by Van Leeuwen came against a 14-man field in the pole vault event which included 13 NCAA Division I competitors.
