Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team and FDU-Florham played to a 0-0 draw tonight in non-conference action at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners move to 1-0-1 overall while the Devils now stand at 3-0-2 on the year.
The Roadrunners recorded six shots on goal in the game while the Devils posted four. Ramapo held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks, including four in each half.
Morgan Korinchak led the Roadrunners with two shots on goal while
Amanda Barr,
Sofia Cascio,
Victoria Gil and
Marisa Christ each recorded one.
Gabby Matias posted four saves in the shutout for the Roadrunners while FDU-Florham goalkeeper Italia Penevolpe collected six saves. The two teams combined for 19 shots in the game as FDU-Florham held an 11-8 edge in total shots.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 16th when they travel to St. Joseph's University Long Island for a non-conference game at 4:00pm.
