Poughkeepsie, NY: The Ramapo College women's cross country team placed 4th overall at the Ron Stonitsch Invitational hosted by Vassar College at The Preserve at Vassar. The Roadrunners tallied 110 points in a field of seven teams.

Ramapo's Dale Leonard finished first for the team and grabbed a top 10 finish when she crossed in ninth place overall and posted a time of 19:16.9. Elena Guzman finished second for the team in 20:45.7 while Rea Pagatpatan was right behind her with a personal best time of 20:52.6. Gianna Penyak and Lydia Rojas rounded out the team's top five finishers in the race with times of 22:01.8 and 22.42.2. Penyak's time is a new personal best mark.

The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, Oct. 10th when they travel to the Metropolitan Conference Championships.
