Dale Leonard of the Ramapo College women's cross country team punched her ticket to the 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championships next weekend with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Metro Regionals, while the Roadrunners grabbed a sixth-place finish as a team.
Leonard, who will compete in her third NCAA Championship meet, nearly set a new personal best when she clocked in at 21:43.1. Leonard also earned her third straight NCAA Metro All-Region honor. The rest of the Roadrunner women would all clock in with personal best times as the team earned a sixth-place finish, tying the highest finish in program history (2023).
Brooke Meberg finished second for the team and 39th overall (23:17.8) while
Zoe Gregory was third for the team and recorded a time of 23:27.7 for a 45th place finish.
Jasmin Silva-Vargas was fourth for the team in 23:42.2 while Francesca Cartagena wrapped up Ramapo's top five finishers in 23:44.5.
Leonard will compete at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Spartanburg, SC on November 22nd.
