Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College softball team earned an at-large bid to the 2025 NCAA Softball Tournament. The Roadrunners (31-9) will take on Massachusetts Institute of Technology (28-10) in an opening round game on Thursday. The four-team bracket will be hosted by Gettysburg College at Bobby Jones Field.

The Roadrunners are seeded #2 in the Gettysburg Regional and will be seeking their third NCAA Regional Title this weekend. Ramapo, who earned one of 22 at-large bids, will take on the #3 seeded MIT Engineers on Thursday at 1:30pm. MIT won the program's third straight NEWMAC Championship to earn the conference's automatic bid. Host Gettysburg, earned the program's first at-large bid, is the #1 seed and will play the #4 seed John Jay College at 11:00am. The Bloodhounds won the CUNYAC Championship for the third straight season. The Roadrunners have never gone up against MIT while they hosted John Jay earlier this season while they have played the Bullets twice over the years. Ramapo defeated John Jay in a non-conference double header in two eight-run rule victories while they last played Gettysburg in 2019.
