Poughkeepsie, NY: The Ramapo College men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Vassar Spring Invite hosted by Vassar College.
Nick Palmadesso won the javelin throw with a mark of 47.78m while
Sebastian Pross and
Braden Holm went 1-2 in the hammer throw. Pross recorded a throw of 50.93m while Holm posted a mark of 47.85m. Holm won the shot put with a mark of 14.64m while
Sebastiano Secades (fifth place) and
Kevin Ortiz (eighth place) posted jumps of 6.18m and 6.07m respectively in the long jump.
Michael Mohr finished fifth overall in the 800m run with a time of 2:01.78. In the 400m hurdles,
Colin Unis placed third overall in 1:00.31 while
Lindell Mejia clocked in at 1:01.85 for a fourth-place finish. The 4x400m relay team posted a combined time of 3:42.04 for a third-place finish.
Three Roadrunners finished in the top ten of the 400m race seeing
Logan Natale placed fourth overall in 49.96 seconds.
Terrell Lockett finished sixth (50.62 seconds) and
Matt Suero finished seventh (50.72 seconds). Natale posted a fifth-place finish in the 200m dash in 22.29 seconds while
JC Mendoza placed seventh (22.94 seconds) and Lockett placed 10th in 23.12 seconds.
Julian Mignone grabbed a sixth-place finish in the 1500m race with a time of 4:12.40 while the 4x100m relay team won with a combined time of 42.51 seconds.
Brandon Balcacer finished third in the 100m dash in 10.90 seconds while Mendoza crossed the line in seventh place in 11.18 seconds.
Ndubuisi Okeh (11.23 seconds) and
Anthony Gentile (11.26 seconds) finished in eighth and ninth place respectively.
The Roadrunners return to action at the 2025 NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday May, 3rd and Sunday, May 4th hosted by the College of New Jersey.
