Ewing, NJ: The Ramapo College outdoor track & field team competed at the TCNJ Invitational today.
Ashley Gordon placed third overall in the 100m dash when she posted a time of 12.75 seconds. The 4x100m relay team grabbed a second-place finish as they clocked in a combined 50.75 seconds. The team was made up of Gordon,
Jianna Gorospe,
Bryanna Shepperson and
Jessica Branham. In the 400m race,
Kamalah Williams posted a time of 1:05.98 while
Victoria Romanov crossed the finish line in 1:07.33. In the 1,500m race,
Kiera Gregory clocked in at 5:32.67 while
Maria Davila finished in 5:49.89, and
Stephanie Paolini posted a time of 6:13.53. Shepperson placed seventh in the high jump when she cleared 1.43m while she posted a mark of 4.51m in the long jump for a 15th place finish.
Two Roadrunners competed at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell University.
Zoey Cassavell finished the 1,500m race in 4:48.78, a new personal best. Her time is now third all-time in program history.
Dale Leonard recorded a time of 2:27.07 in the 800m run in heat six.
The team returns to action when they travel to the Coach Pollard Invitational hosted by Moravian University on April 18th beginning at 10am.
