Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's outdoor track and field team competed in day two of the Ramapo Invitational hosted by the Roadrunner at the Athletic Center and North Field.
Ashely Gordon posted a time of 12.51 seconds in the finals of the 100m dash as she ties the 8th fastest time in program history. Gordon finished fourth overall while she grabbed a seventh-place finish in the 200m race in 26.51 seconds.
Kamalah Williams clocked in at 1:02.77 in the 400m race for a ninth-place finish.
Rea Pagatpatan placed ninth and
Lydia Rojas placed 10th in the 800m race with times of 2:34.58 and 2:35.59 overall.
Gianna Penyak posted a time of 5:06.96 in the 5k to finish 10th overall.
Lynell Thomas (4th) and Regine Lladoc (9th) posted times of 1:10.47 and 1:13.96 in the 400m hurdles respectively while the 4x400 relay team combined for a time of 4:18.49 for a sixth-place finish. The team was made up of
Jianna Gorospe, Abby Petrolia, Thomas, and
Barbara Exilus. In the high jump,
Jessica Branham cleared 1.48m to finish eighth overall while in the long jump
Bryanna Shepperson posted a mark of 4.88m to finish 11th.
Ramapo will return to action at the Metropolitan Championships at Icahn Stadium on Friday, April 4th beginning at 9am.
