Staten Island, NY:  Members of the Ramapo College women's indoor track & field team competed at the Big Apple Invitational this afternoon at the Ocean Breeze Complex. The Roadrunners competed against a field of NCAA D1, D3 and unattached athletes.
 
Dale Leonard posted a third-place finish in the mile run when she clocked in at 5:00.02 while Zoey Cassavell placed 14th overall in 5:17.55. Cassavell's time is now 7th all-time at Ramapo. In the 800m run, Leonard grabbed another third-place finish to her day in 2:20.03. In the 200m dash, Ashley Gordon clocked in at 26.84 seconds while Jianna Gorospe posted a time of 27.35 seconds.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, Feb. 15th when they travel to the New York Armory for the NYU DIII Invitational which is set to begin at 9:00 AM.
