Purchase, NY: The Ramapo College women's soccer team scored a late goal to earn a 1-1 draw on the road at Manhattanville University this afternoon. The Roadrunners move to 1-2-1 overall while the Valiants now stand at 0-1-2 on the year.
After a scoreless first half, Manhattanville got on the board in the 57th minute when Alexandra Brauer scored off a pass from Kelly Barrera. Ramapo would push the Valiant defense late in the game and in the 85th minute
Amber Maher scored her team leading third goal of the season.
Ramapo recorded nine shots in the game including three on goal while they posted one corner kick. Manhattaville posted 12 shots in the game while only two were on frame along with three corner kicks. Roadrunner goalie posted one save in 90 minutes of action.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 11th when they host Saint Joseph's College-Brooklyn at the Athletic Center at 7pm.
