Williamsport, PA: The Ramapo College men's soccer team moved to 4-1-2 overall with a 4-1 road victory over Penn College today in non-conference action. The Wildcats drop to 4-3-1 overall.
Kyle Allen led the Roadrunners on the field with two goals and one assist in today's game.
Elton Mani put Ramapo on the board with a goal in the 34th minute (33:02) in the first half as
Jack Hosmer and Allen each recorded an assist. Allen then hit the back of the net late in the first (42:15), unassisted for a 2-0 score heading into halftime.
In the second half, Penn got on the board with a goal from Austin Stapleton in the 60th minute (59:29) while Logan Pietrzak earned the assist.
Alim Lita scored for Ramapo in the 74th minute (73:52) as Mani tallied the assist before Allen scored his second goal of the game to push the score to 4-1 off a pass from
Jun Choi in the 81st minute (80:08).
Ramapo posted 21 shots in the game including nine on goal while they held a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Dilan Solorzano posted three saves for the Roadrunners in the win, all in the second half. Justin Potts made five saves in the net for the Wildcats.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 25th when they host CCNY in a non-conference game at 7pm.
