Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team earned their first win of the season tonight over visiting St. Joseph's University Brooklyn, 3-0 (25-11, 25-13, 25-18). The Roadrunners move to 1-4 overall while the Bears drop to 6-3 on the season.
Amanda Fatouh led the Roadrunners with nine kills and a team high 13 digs.
Emily Shea posted seven kills and one block while
Jasmine Rolle posted five kills, three digs and a team high three aces.
Kaitlyn Van Zile posted three blocks while
Riley Stewart added two blocks and 13 digs.
Katie Bishop dished out a team high 25 assists and posted 12 digs for a double-double in the match. The team put down 32 kills on 98 attempts with 14 errors. Ramapo head coach

For the Bears, Martina Urgo led the team with seven kills and one ace while Taylor Knight posted four kills and nine digs. Juliette DiVittorio posted a team high 14 digs while Rachel Meltsin tallied eight assists. The Bears produced 15 kills in the match on 111 attempts with 33 errors.
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 21st when they travel to Manhattanville University for a non-conference tri-match. The Roadrunners take on Misericordia University at 1pm and the host Valiants at 3pm.
