Madison, NJ: The FDU-Florham field hockey team defeated Ramapo College tonight in non-conference action, 1-0. The Devils move to 2-3 overall while the Roadrunners slip to 1-4 overall.
Dominique Rodriguez hit the back of the cage off a pass from Sophia Candeloro in the 9th minute of action to put the Devils on the board. Each team posted two shots each in the first and second quarters while Ramapo tallied three in each of the final two. The Roadrunner defense held the Devils to just three shots in the final two quarters. Ramapo posted ten total shots with seven on goal while FDU-Florham posted seven total shots and four on goal.
Michelle Kukan posted two saves in the game while
Maddie Kulik collected a defensive save for Ramapo. Emily Schlessinger tallied seven saves in the win for the Devils.
